Bio:

German photographer Franka Zaumseil is currently living in Sydney, Australia. She has exhibited at various group shows including InnerNortherns’ exhibitions in Melbourne and Sydney.

Artists Statement:

I take pictures everywhere I go, my camera is essential to me and my art. A lot of my pictures are of objects that I find in the urban environment, things or compositions of things that seem awkward to me and appear to be unnoticed by others. I love to capture the oddities of everybody’s daily life as well as the people who make them possible. The aim of my work is to catch a moment, a certain feeling that will disappear in a blink of an eye.
